**READ BEFORE YOU SUBMIT**
I will send you in small groups to print copies of your play in the Media Center. Do not submit before you do that - I am concerned you will lose access to the document and not be able to print. IF you want to submit, please "Make a Copy" of the whole document so you have a copy you can edit. We will cover this at the beginning of class on Friday.

2. Review the basic playwriting format we learned last week. 


ASSIGNMENT: Adapt the "Cookie" Scene into a traditional narrative (paragraph) story. Then write a short (no longer than one page) scene based on your "elevator" creative writing story. I am checking over these both for format and grammar.


(Pat walks into the room. Ash is eating a cookie.)
Pat: Is that my cookie?
Ash: No…
Pat: Where is my cookie then?
(Ash hands the remainder of the cookie to Pat.)
Ash: It’s mostly in my belly.

3. Notebook Check! Answer the questions in the attached Google Form. Your answers should come from your notebook and nowhere else.

Stage Direction Dance Project Turn In

If in Class, you will turn in your worksheet in person and attach your video/turn in your video through Google Classroom. Remember, if you're submitting the video for your group that I need you to indicate the other people in your group. If you aren't, please submit a doc with the names of your group members and the song you performed. Also, if you were a stand in for another group please let me know!


If at Home, you will turn in the worksheet AND video through Google Classroom. The worksheet is copied so you can type into it directly. If you started this project with a group in class, you will record the dance solo at home (I know that it will look funny) and take pictures of the worksheets to turn in. (You don't need to type it,  unless you want to.)


I strongly encourage everyone to read back through the directions one more time before turning your work in.
