Activities & Assignments

PP: FFW

We will begin with a game of Geoguessr! We will try to find our way and guess a random location on the map. This will hone our senses and get us ready for a discussion of setting.

We will review the opening of Animal farm and look for red flag phrases that will give us insight into where we are and how this world operates. From there, we will read the first four paragraphs of animal farm aloud and think carefully about the emotions the setting conveys.

Students will split into groups to identify the most poignant emotions in the setting and highlight sections that evoke strong responses.
