ELAGSE9-10RL3: Analyze how complex characters(e.g., those with multiple or conflicting motivations) develop over the course of a text, interact with other characters, and advance the plot or develop the theme.

Activities & Assignments

FFW 

Students will resume their rehearsals for the performance as class begins. The instructor Will once again review the concept of “asides” where characters get the chance to communicate with the audience but not the other characters. Each member of the theatre group will be given the chance to write an original aside for their assigned characters!

The instructor will also pass out a performance rubric so the class can evaluate individual performances. The class will close with each group presenting their new scenes and acting out the parts.
