Washington Youth Tour
 
"A trip of a lifetime." The 2025 National Washington Youth Tour, a week-long, all-expenses paid, leadership experience in our nation’s capital is scheduled for June 13 - 20. Delegates will make memories while being immersed in monuments, museums and memorials. Annually OREMC sponsors four students to participate in the National Washington Youth Tour, traveling with over 100 students from Georgia/Florida and connecting with more than 1,000 from all over the United States.

All within OREMC’s eight county service area—Brantley, Camden, Charlton, Glynn, Ware and Wayne counties in Georgia and Baker and Nassau Counties in Florida—. Interested students must submit a completed application attach two letters of recommendation and a short essay explaining why they are interested in the Youth Tour experience. 
Application deadline is January 20, 2025 
Applications can also be picked up at one of our office locations or mailed to you at your request.

At the College of Coastal Georgia, participants MUST stay on campus that week.

Nurse Camp

 

Southeast Georgia Health System and College of Coastal Georgia are proud to host their Nurse Camp, July 11-14, 2023. The four-day camp is open to high school students entering grades 11 and 12 who are interested in becoming a nurse. 

 

Space is limited. A total of 20 students will be accepted into the program and participants must be in good academic standing. To register, students must submit an application, a letter of recommendation from a school official, and a Nurse Camp essay by Monday, May 15. Registration information can be found at sghs.org/nursecamp. The cost of the camp is $30 upon acceptance.
