About Me
I grew up in Minneapolis, Minnesota, but moved to Atlanta my senior year of high school. I graduated from Northside High School for Performing Arts where I concentrated in dance. I attended the University of Georgia for my Bachelors in Photography and Art, and then worked in Graphic Design for Xerox in Atlanta for 5 years before deciding the corporate world wasn’t for me. I attended Georgia State University to complete my education courses, and after receiving my certification, moved to Brunswick where I started teaching elementary art. I taught elementary art classes for 21 years before moving to the high school. This will be my 4th year at Brunswick High School, and I absolutely love it here. My husband is a 1981 BHS graduate, and I have a daughter, also an artist, who graduated from Glynn Academy in 2014.
