Notes and Resources
“... a mind needs books as a sword needs a whetstone, if it is to keep its edge.”
Welcome to 11th American Lit & Comp. These classes utilize the Common Core Georgia Performance Standards. My courses study a variety of literary genres to foster a deeper understanding of the structure and meaning behind literary work. My students will learn to interpret and analyze works from diverse backgrounds and they will demonstrate competency/mastery in various forms of writing.
In order to receive credit for my class, a student will have to PASS the EOC and PASS my class. These are non-negotiable.
My students will be required to engage in reading, research, timed writing, class discussion, test preparation and the writing process. My Resources
