Students will need to make an account at  https://my.innerview.org/ with a publishable profile picture.  The profile photo should clearly show their face in a professional manner (not tongues sticking out or snapchat filters, something you'd be proud to show a potential employer).

When entering service hours, be sure to tag the correct group.  You must be a member of the group to see it as an option to tag. When you add or edit an activity, the last field on the form asks “Did you do this with a group?”. Select the group that you want to tag from that list.

When entering service hours, be sure to include all supervisor information. Failure to complete this section will cause the hours to be denied.  99%+ of the service hours will be confirmed with your supervisor before approval.

All service activities require at least one photo - the best are action shots that help others see YOU dedicating your time and effort to things that are important to you. In cases where it might be inappropriate to take a photo with the people you're helping (ie. children under 13 or patients in a hospital), you can get creative and take a selfie in front of the building or before others arrive.

All service hours must be logged into https://my.innerview.org/my.innerview.org within 2 weeks of the service.

Enter all information into innerview.org, including the name, email and phone number of the adult supervisor.  This will usually not be the club supervisors.

Check https://my.innerview.org/y.innerview.org regularly to make sure your hours have been approved.  If the hours were not approved, correct this issue and re-submit.  Do not recreate the submission.

General guidelines for service hours:
  • You cannot be PAID or compensated for the hours.
  • Hours cannot be earned by doing an activity REQUIRED for ANOTHER club or extracurricular
  • Cannot work for family
  • Hours must be helping the community
  • Tutoring must be done in a structured program

The UN Global Goals with activity examples are shown in the PDF below.
