AP Statistics

Course Description

The purpose of this course is to introduce students to the major concepts and tools for collecting, analyzing, and drawing conclusions from data. Students are exposed to four broad conceptual themes: exploring data, sampling and experimentation, anticipating patterns and statistical inference.

Prerequisite

  • Completion of Algebra 2 with a B or higher
  • Strong reading and writing skills

AP Calculus AB & BC

Course Description

AP Calculus AB and AP Calculus BC focus on calculus concepts through modeling change, approximation and limits, and analysis of functions. Both courses require students to use definitions and theorems to build arguments and justify conclusions.

Prerequisite Course(s)

  • AP Calculus AB requires completion of Precalculus
  • AP Calculus BC requires completion of AP Calculus AB

  • Finding the equation for lines tangent to a curve at a point
