BHS One-Act Team Partners with GICCA for Benefit Dinner Theatre

On February 6th, the BHS One-Act Team will partner with Golden Isles College and Career Academy for their first Dinner Theatre. Led by Chef Laura Bersticker, the culinary students at GICCA will create a delicious 3 course meal for attendees. The BHS One-Act Team will perform their 30 minute Studio production, The Bald Soprano by Eugène Ionesco translated by Tina Howe, in addition to several musical performances by members of the team. Attendees will also be encouraged to bid to a silent auction for a number of gift cards, art, and items donated by local merchants and GICCA.
In October, the BHS Team made Glynn County School System history winning the Georgia Theatre Conference Studio Show Festival with their production of The Bald Soprano by Eugène Ionesco translated by Tina Howe. They will represent the state of Georgia at the Southeastern Theatre Conference in Chattanooga, TN competing against productions from 10 states. Additionally, Madison Todd won Best Performer, Tyson Morten won Best Supporting Performer, and Crosby Alderman and Elaina McNorton both were named to the All-Star Cast.
Doors will open for the event at 5:30pm at Golden Isles College & Career Academy. Tickets are $50 and available at https://bhspc.ludus.com/
All money raised at the Dinner Theatre will help fund travel expenses for the BHS One-Act Team trip to Chattanooga, TN to compete for the national title.
