BHS STAR STUDENT
The 2026 STAR (Student Teacher Achievement Recognition) Student from BHS is Kara Nuque. According to the PAGE STAR website: "To qualify for nomination, students must have the highest SAT score at their high school on a single test date through November of their senior year, and must rank in the top 10 percent or be among the top 10 students in their class based on GPA. SAT scores must meet or surpass the national average in the Evidence-Based Reading and Writing and Math sections. The STAR winners and their most influential teachers were celebrated at the STAR Luncheon held at Heritage Oaks Golf Club hosted by GFWC Brunswick Woman’s Club. Congratulations to these exemplary students and teachers.
