Latin America Map Mnemonic Device
A mnemonic device is coming up with something to help you remember information. For example, the three countries in the Caribbean are (from left to right on a map) Cuba, Dominican Republic, and Puerto Rico. Coming up with a way to remember them in order, you could make up a sentence using the first letter of each country. for instance, Crazy Dogs Play. Your assignment is to come up with a sentence for each of the three regions using the first letter of the countries. Central America order is Mexico, Guatemala, El Salvador, Honduras, Nicaragua, Costa Rica, and Panama. South America order is Venezuela, Colombia, Ecuador, Peru, Bolivia, Chile, Argentina, Uruguay, and Paraguay. Let me know if you have any questions.

Students who are currently at home will complete the map attached which includes 25 countries of Central and South America and the Caribbean. Be able to identify which countries speak Spanish.
