Instructional Strategies:
- Opening (I do): Acquire prior knowledge on classifying numbers. Complete notes in Spiral Math Book.
- Work Session (We do - You do): Identify and group numbers according to their correct classification on Mimio Board. Complete Worksheet on Rational/Irrational Numbers.
- Closing (We check): Check solutions with partners and review any questions students may have as a class. Exit Check/Ticket.
Differentiation Strategies: Scaffolding throughout lesson and applications will be provided for rigor. Students will work with pairs at some points throughout the assignment.
