I will solve systems of equations by graphing.

Success Criteria:

  • I can solve equations for slope-intercept form
  • I can graph linear equations.
  • I can identify the solution.
    • One solution – intersecting lines
    • No solutions – parallel lines
    • Infinitely many solution – coinciding lines

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:  

Review TOTD from yesterday.

 

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will work to complete the color sheet on graphing systems of equations.We will split for 30-45 minutes into groups to help remediate learning for those who did not do as expected on the TOTD yesterday.
