Learning Target:

I will solve systems of equations by graphing.

Success Criteria:

  • I can solve equations for slope-intercept form
  • I can graph linear equations.
  • I can identify the solution.
    • One solution – intersecting lines
    • No solutions – parallel lines
    • Infinitely many solution – coinciding lines

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

None.

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

TKES 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. 8,10

GUIDED PRACTICE:  

Review TOTD. Students will come to the board to work out and review with the class.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will complete an online practice in Savvas Realize. Students can seek assistance throughout the online practice, if needed.

Closing  (We Check)

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .

SUMMARIZE/CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING:

Students who did not finish their Color Sheet on Systems of Equations can do so at this time. Students will also work to complete any missing work.
