Work Period (We Do, You Do) Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations. Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period. TKES 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. 8,10 | GUIDED PRACTICE: We will go over solutions from yesterdays worksheet. Solutions will be shared. Students will split into two groups with teachers to complete class work. Work on page 277 in Explorations in Core Mathematics workbook. |
INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION: Students will come to the board and share solutions with the class. Class discussions will arise when necessary. Scaffolding throughout lesson and applications will be provided for rigor. Students will work with pairs at some points throughout the assignment. | |
