Standard(s): MGSE9-12.A.REI.10 & 11 Algebra 1 Standards – Identify Slope using slope formula.

Learning Target: I will identify and calculate the slope.

Success Criteria:

·         I can identify the slope given the following:

o   Two-points using slope formula

Instructional Strategies:

• Opening (I do): None.
• Work Session (We do-You do): None.
• Closing (We check): Students will work to finish their slope puzzles with their partner. Teachers will check the order of the slope puzzle to see if students are correct. If any pieces of the puzzle are incorrect the teachers will review the information and help the students find their individual mistakes. 

Differentiation Strategies: Scaffolding throughout lesson and applications will be provided for rigor. Students will work with pairs at some points throughout the assignment.
