Guided Instruction: As a class, we will discuss examples of irony in the short story, “To Serve Man.”
Class Assignment (Independent): Students will finish reading, annotating and analyzing the short story, “To Serve Man.”
Closing: In “To Serve Man,” some characters are suspicious of the Kanamits motivation. How does Damon Knight use irony in the short story? Cite evidence in your answer.
