Differentiation/Summarizing/Check for Understanding Scaffolding and small groups will be used for students who are struggling to clarify for understanding. Shortened assignments for struggling students. Teachers will visually and orally assess students throughout the class period and will frequently check for understanding. Students who need extra help with work one on one or in a small group with the teacher. Today’s Independent Practice will be checked together as a class for understanding, graded and students will have the opportunity to ‘fix’ missed problems.
Students have unlimited attempts at Weekly Assignments, Tests/Quizzes with the help of the teacher, giving more opportunity for understanding, exposure and success.
