DIRECT INSTRUCTION: Complete Notes on the Quadratic Formula. | |
Work Period (We Do, You Do) Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations. Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period. TKES 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. 8,10 | GUIDED PRACTICE: The teacher will provide 5 examples on the handout. Three of them we will work through together and the other two will be solved by students and we will review after to ensure they got the correct answer. |
INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION: The students will work to finish their worksheet. The students will check with teachers when needed more guided direction. | |
Closing (We Check) Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding . TKES : 1,2,3, 4,5,6,7,8 | SUMMARIZE/CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING: Students will check some problems on the board on Promethean board. |
