Learning Target:

·         I will solve a quadratic equation.    

Success Criteria:

• I can solve quadratic equations by factoring.
• Put a quadratic equation in standard form
• Factor the quadratic

o    Solve each factor when equal to zero

Introduction/Connection: 

Pirate Prep

Review the Quadratic Formula and the common mistakes made.

GUIDED PRACTICE: 

The teacher will go over a couple problems completed by students from Friday.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will complete a flower color page using the quadratic formula.
