o    Domain, range, x-intercept, y-intercept, zero, maximum, minimum, direction of opening, vertex, axis of symmetry

·         I can identify and label the following quadratic characteristics given a graph:

o    Domain, range, x-intercept, y-intercept, zero, maximum, minimum, direction of opening, vertex, axis of symmetry

Complete notes in notebook on the common characteristics of quadratic functions.

GUIDED PRACTICE: 

As a class, we will complete sample problems from the handout.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will complete problems on the board for a check towards the end of class.
