Activities & Assignments

Opening prompt. Class will begin with a prompt exploring parental justifications for forcing teenagers to work. What is the perspective of our writer? What is the definition of fraught in the essay?
The instructor will then reference our lingering chat wall. What perspective do you see this article taking that differs from Morrison?
The instructor will then present art work for the article from The New York Times.We will search for quotes from the text that inspired the artwork. We will also conduct a careful discussion of how images inform and expand a text.
