Learning Target:

·         I will recognize a growth or decay exponential function using tables, equations, and graphs.

Success Criteria:

·         I can recognize an exponential function by a curve on a graph.

·         I can identify exponential equations based on a power of “x”.

·         I can evaluate exponential functions.

·         I can identify exponential tables based on a repeating multiplication pattern.

GUIDED PRACTICE: 

As a class, we will complete sample problems on exponential functions on the worksheet.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will finish the worksheet and share answers on the Mimio Interactive board.

Closing  (We Check)

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .
