I will work hard to improve my RIT score in the MAP Algebra 1 Growth Test.

Success Criteria:

  • I can use test taking skills/strategies taught to complete the MAP Test.
  • I can use my calculator/technology given to assist me on problems to complete the MAP Test.

None.

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

GUIDED PRACTICE:  

None.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

The MAP test is differentiated for each individual student. Based on correct or incorrect problems, the MAP test will provide the student with a different range of questions.

Closing  (We Check)

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .

SUMMARIZE/CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING:

Students will complete the second round of the MAP Algebra 1 Growth Test. Following, students will complete the October Discussion (if haven’t already) or work on IXL.
