Learning Target:

·         I will write and solve for the nth term of a geometric sequence.

Success Criteria:

·         I can identify the first term.

·         I can identify the common ratio.

·         I can identify the nth term we are finding.

·         I can remember and understand the RNA1 acronym.

Introduction/Connection: 

Pirate Prep

DIRECT INSTRUCTION:

None.

Students learning by doing/demonstrating learning expectations.  Describe the instructional process that will be used to engage the students in the work period.

TKES 1, 2, 3, 4, 5, 7. 8,10

GUIDED PRACTICE: 

We will review a few problems from Fridays work.

INDEPENDENT/COLLABORATIVE PRACTICE/DIFFERENTIATION:

Students will complete the digital breakout room for Geometric Sequences.

Describe the instructional process that will be used to close the lesson and check for student understanding .

SUMMARIZE/CHECK FOR UNDERSTANDING:
