Learning Target:

  1. Read closely and analyze an article about Artificial Intelligence from two different Eras


Success Criteria:

  1. Students will create annotated texts with detailed notes regarding their impressions on AI

  2. Students will write a short story about the future of writing in a world where Chat GPT has taken over. 


Activities & Assignments

PP: Latin Root


Students will begin the class with a general discussion about the era of AI and what it entails. 


Students will read the article, write paragraph summaries, and answer the guided questions. 


Students will then read a follow up article with a focus on Chat GPT in the classroomt. They will respond to a few discussion questions in their journals. Students will conclude class with a story about the future of writing in a world where AI has taken over.
