ELAGSE9-10RL7: Analyze the representation of a subject or a key scene in two different artistic mediums (e.g., Auden’s poem “Musée de Beaux Arts” and Breughel’s painting Landscape with the Fall of Icarus), including what is emphasized or absent in each treatment.

Learning Target:

1. I will analyze and offer comment on different film versions of Romeo and Juliet. 

Success Criteria:

1. I will complete a cross word puzzle

2. I will respond to a work sheet on the film. 

Activities & Assignments

PP: Discovering voice 

Today we will screen Romeo and Juliet! We will start with a few scenes from various versions of the play so we can compare and contrast across different eras. 

Students will respond to a worksheet and crossword puzzle before the day ends.
