G.GSR.4 Establish facts between angle relations and generate valid arguments to defend facts established. Prove theorems and solve geometric problems involving lines and angles to model and explain real-life phenomena.

Learning Target:

G.GSR.4.1 Use the undefined notions of point, line, line segment, plane, distance along a line segment, and distance around a circular arc to develop and use precise definitions and symbolic notations to prove theorems and solve geometric problems. 

Success Criteria:

• I can define vocabulary terms.

• I can define and identify points, lines, and planes.

Differentiation/Summarizing/Check for Understanding

• Scaffolding and small groups will be used for students who are struggling to clarify for understanding.

• Shortened assignments for struggling students.

• Teachers will visually and orally assess students throughout the class period and will frequently check for understanding.

• Students who need extra help with work one on one or in a small group with the teacher. 

• Today’s Guided and Independent Practice will be checked together as a class for understanding, graded and students will have the opportunity to ‘fix’ missed problems.

• Students have unlimited attempts at Weekly Assignments, Tests/Quizzes with the help of the teacher, giving more opportunity for understanding, exposure and success.
