Activities & Assignments
PP: FFW
The teacher will begin the class with a few introductions. He will explain his professional background and teaching philosophy. The class will walk through rules and procedures and general assignments which make up the bulk of the course.
Students will then write five questions for Q&A. Class will review questions and the instructor will listen to initial student feedback on rules and procedures.
The instructor will then guide students to the following website:
https://www.literacynet.org/mi/assessment/findyourstrengths.html
Students will take the “find your strengths” test to determine their core intelligence strength. Students will then be asked to write a short paragraph discussing whether they agree or disagree with the results. How will their particular strength aid them in the ELA classroom? What can the instructor do to help “reach” that strength and provide stimulation for you as an individual?
