Activities & Assignments
We will begin class today with a jigsaw activity for Act 5 of Romeo and Juliet. Students will gather in five groups, one for each scene. The students will then list three key points for each scene on a large post it note and provide a general summary of what their scene entails. The instructor will provide some layman's term resources to aid students in the creation of their jigsaw.
From here Students will separate into groups to prepare for a performance of Romeo and Juliet Act 5 split up among the jigsawed scenes. Each groups will select a director, a time keeper, and a question master. Students will block, rehearse, and create notes on their particular performances.
