Class will begin with a brief description of plays from Shakespere’s time and his competitors. We will return to the great men we listed last week and make a new list of their competitors or rivals. We will then consider which of these rivals are worthier than those who are recognized as the dominant influencer.

Students will then write summaries of the Achieve article and answer the guided questions.
