Activities & Assignments
PP: FFW

We will begin class with a short reading from Out of My Mind, and Fahrenheit 451. Students will write long analyses of the two characters from these novels. Afterwards, we will work together to create a chart based on our observations of these characters.

From here we will discuss narrative point of view and how the story has been affected by the author’s choices to structure the text. What observations did we make that somehow relate to point of view?

We will end class with an exercise where we rewrite the opening of one of the novels and SWITCH this point of view. What has been improved in this process? What has been lost?
