Opening (I do): PIRATE PREP - SAT Math Question of the Day!

We Do:

  1. Review Latitude and Longitude individually.
  2. Then put Latitude and Longitude together.

You Do:

  1. Do math calculations for mass and weight on different bodies in our Solar System using a worksheet, gravity acceleration values, and a scientific calculator. Get blue stamp upon completion.
  2. Start Flocabulary #2 due next week, if there is time.

Closing (We Check):

  1. Look at the Moon tonight...where is she located at 8:00 p.m.?
  2. Keep your notebook organized.

Differentiation Strategies:

Individual work on Latitude and Longitude worksheets.

Independent and/or partner work on the worksheets on mass and weight.

Formative/Summative

Assessment(s):

(We Check)

Teacher check while in partners/group work

Address individual questions/concerns
