REVIEW OF CONTENT FROM BEFORE STORM DAYS


I will describe how citizens voluntarily and responsibly participate in the political process by voting, performing public service, being informed about current issues, and respecting differing opinions.

LT:  I will analyze the key ideas and writings of early philosophers and how those shaped the development and structure of the United States government.

World History Standard: Examine the effects of the Transatlantic Slave Trade on Africa and on the colonies in the Americas.


US History Standard: Describe the Middle Passage, the growth of the African population and their contributions, including but not limited to architecture, agriculture, and foodways.


LT:I will examine the effects of the Transatlantic Slave Trade on Africa and on the colonies in the Americas

  • I can investigate how mercantilism and Trans-Atlantic trade led to the development of colonies
