Brunswick High Named Goodwill's Pass it On Challenge Winner

Goodwill presented Principal Slade Turner and Mary Mason of Brunswick High School with the $2,000 prize as the Pass it On Challenge winning team. Brunswick High School and the local community collected 5,805 pounds of gently-used items to donate to Goodwill, more than any other participating team in this fall’s challenge.

The Pass It On Challenge is a friendly competition between southeast Georgia high school football teams. Participating teams collected gently-used items from their fellow students and local communities to be put to work doing good for the community through Goodwill’s donated goods retail stores.

During each match-up, the school with the most pounds collected won a $1,000 award. The school that collected the most pounds overall won an additional $1,000 award. Brunswick High School was named the overall 2022 Pass it On Challenge Winner!

“The Brunswick High School community demonstrated an incredible amount of generosityduring the Pass it On Challenge,” shared Parker Kitchens, Manager Donor Acquisition Manager, Goodwill Southeast Georgia. “Donations fuel every program and service that Goodwill offers to individuals across Southeast Georgia, we are grateful to Principal Turner and his students for their participation and well-deserved win.”
