Finishing their seasons as the No. 2 and No. 3 seeds out of Region 2-6A, Glynn Academy and Brunswick High teams were well-represented in the region honors earlier this week.
As other schools were waiting to announce their lists, the two schools announced the players who earned honors from their teams
Glynn Academy senior linebacker Peyton Parker earned Defensive Player of the Year honors with 102 total tackles in 10 games played. Parker added five tackles for loss, two sacks, an interception, and a fumble recovery over the course of the season.
