All students approved for Glynn Virtual Academy are required to attend orientation with a parent/guardian to complete the acceptance process. This orientation will provide information to help you and your child make a smooth transition to virtual learning.
Each session covers both student and parent expectations, virtual learning protocols and a review of curriculum resources.
In our ongoing response to the unprecedented conditions surrounding COVID-19 in our schools and community, our current positive COVID-19 cases have escalated our operational level from Yellow Level to Red Level.
In response to the COVID-19 pandemic, Glynn County Schools will offer a virtual option for K-5 in addition to grades 6-12.
Students, K-12, who are interested in the virtual school option are required to apply and be approved to participate in Glynn Virtual Academy. Additional details and the application are available at the link below.
The Glynn County Parent Academy is a FREE family resource that helps promote parental involvement, enhance student achievement and support a caregiver’s need for personal growth. Click the link to share your thoughts and ideas for upcoming workshops.
The Glynn County Schools Parent Academy will host two virtual sessions from 6 to 8 p.m. on Thursday, Aug. 19 via Google Meet to discuss Parent Portal usage, updating contact information with schools, attendance reminders and communication with teachers and staff.
