What PARENTS need to know

1)      Algebra 1 is difficult for most students regardless of middle school success in math.

2)      Your son/daughter will receive 1 credit for passing this class. He/she will be in my class every day the entire year for 45 minutes. Here is the grade breakdown below.

3)      My deepest desire is for each student to succeed in this class.  I teach to the best of my ability but your student must do their work in class and at home to learn the concepts we are required to teach.

4)      When your student is absent they must make up the work within 3 calendar days after their last absent day. 

5)      You can check your student’s grade any time day or night via Infinite Campus.

6)      I am pleased to talk to you about your student’s progress in my class either through email [email protected] or phone 912-267-4200 ext. 6311 or parent conference.

7)      Your student is required to have the following supplies:

●        1 inch 3 ring binder for this class ONLY

●        Loose leaf paper

●        Pencils

What STUDENTS need to know

1)      Algebra 1 is difficult for most students.  You must be willing to work hard to master the standards.

2)      This course counts as 1 credit. Come every day prepared, and work hard and you will be just fine. Here is your grade breakdown.

3)      My deepest desire is for you to succeed in this class.  I teach to the best of my ability but you must do your work in class and at home to learn the concepts to be promoted to 10^th grade.

4)      When you are absent, it is YOUR responsibility to check Google Classroom to see what you missed and make it up within 3 calendar days from your last absent day. 

5)      You can check your grade any time day or night via Infinite Campus.

6)      I am pleased to talk to you about your progress in my class after school on any day.

7)      You are required to have the following supplies:
