Hello Pirate Nation!! I'm Shanika Walker the new Mental Health Support Counselor at Brunswick High School. I'm super excited to embark on this new journey and looking forward to having a great school year. I'm an alum of Brunswick High School, graduating class of 96. Completed my undergrad at The Fort Valley State University and my Master's degree in Counseling and Psychology from Troy State University.
Previously employed with Coastal GA CAA, INC as the Center Supervisor of Glynn Head Start for 13 years. Counselor and case manager with Gateway Behavioral Health Services for 5 years. Before joining Pirate Nation, I taught American Government at Glynn Academy for 3 years.
